Well, the preliminary reports are in and the Pig Fun Fly was a tremendous SUCCESS!!  More details will follow in the newsletter and at the next meeting but here is a summary.  There were over 30 pilots in attendance and well over 50 aircraft registered.  The weather cooperated 110% and everyone had a great time.  Speaking of the weather, I don't think I've ever seen it that cooperative.  When the winds arrived, they pretty much pointed straight down the runway.  There was plenty of food over the two days culminating with a fantastic roast pig thanks to John Ryan's efforts (John started the pig at 2 AM and diligently attended to it all night and day until it was served up at 4 PM on Saturday).

Thanks go out to our many sponsors who provided door prizes and funds that helped ensure our success.  The sponsors included Barn Speed Hobbies, Competition Hobbies, Science and Hobby and Alan Mostek Decals.

And last but not least, thanks to Mike Jr. and Vinnie for all their hard work and planning that made this event possible.  Their efforts ensured our success and from all accounts, plans are in the works for more events so stay tuned.
